Jumbuck are a fourth-generation Australian business with large scale sheep and cattle stations across the country. Bulgunnia runs around 25,000 head of Merino sheep across approximately 700,000 acres with a permanent staff of 6. Led by an experienced manager, we are looking for a station hand who is passionate about working in the pastoral industry to join the crew on a permanent, full-time basis. Experience riding 2-wheel motorbikes will be necessary along with being comfortable living and working in Australia's outback. Experience with sheep or livestock is certainly an advantage, but for those without experience we are happy to invest the time to teach someone in these areas. Some of what you will be involved in: Mustering of sheep on 2-wheel motorbikes Water runs - checking various dams, bores and watering points and learning to maintain, service and repair them Yard work and fencing Various mechanical work including engine and small motor maintenance and servicing Competitive day rate, 6-weeks paid annual leave and an ongoing staff bonus incentive are available along with training and career development opportunities.
