The program is a primary prevention project underpinned by community development, harm minimisation and public health frameworks. It aims to reduce the harm from gambling through health promotion and community development activities co-designed by the local communities of Wurrumiyanga, Alice Springs, Santa Teresa and Wadeye. About the Role The Gambling Program Officer will support the program to meet its objectives through supporting the design, implementation and evaluation of the Gambling and My Community project, designing and delivering health promotion activities to community, service providers and stakeholders, and supporting local Gambling Harm Educators to develop their skills in community development activities. This position is a part time position (32 hours per week) and will require travel to remote communities in the Top End Northern Territory for one night per week.
