About the Children’s Development Team The Children’s Development Team (CDT) is dedicated to providing high-quality, family-centred multidisciplinary allied health services for children aged 0–18 in urban and remote areas of Central Australia and the Barkly regions. The services are delivered across diverse settings, including clinics, schools, and community environments. The Role As the Senior Allied Health Professional , you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and supervision and ensuring delivery of high quality, culturally appropriate and effective allied health services. As part of the CDT, you’ll provide assessment and intervention to children (0-18 years) and their families. You’ll be based in Alice Springs, with some travel to remote areas by road or light plane for up to 5 days at a time required. About you You're a dedicated Allied Health Professional ready to make a real difference in the lives of children and families. To be successful in you’ll have: Relevant qualifications in occupational therapy, physiotherapy or speech pathology and be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or registration for practice with the relevant professional association. Extensive experience providing contemporary, high level paediatric clinical allied health services and managing a complex workload. Extensive experience in clinical supervision of students and staff and a commitment to professional development. Proven ability in leading continuous quality improvement and service development activities.
