We are looking for a highly capable, lateral thinking and experienced marketer to lead the strategic direction of our marketing and brand activities. Through tactical marketing, creative problem solving, quality execution, and a deep understanding and care for the Gewürzhaus brand, vision and values, the role will deliver a high level of customer engagement, growth of key channels and brand awareness. Your task is to set Gewürzhaus apart as a unique retailer. Reporting to the CEO and contributing as an important member of the senior leadership team, our Head of Marketing is responsible for; Ownership of the marketing and brand strategies Deliver tangible results through effective local area marketing, activations, PR and communications, brand management, e-commerce sales, digital marketing and new product development End to end execution of the marketing calendar campaigns and activities Lead new product development and brand activation initiatives from concept to realisation Deliver a robust CRM platform, which contributes to sales performance and long-term brand loyalty Informed reporting, giving insight into marketing performance and successes Effectively manage and inspire your team including external contractors ensuring alignment to key objectives, brand standards and our values at all times Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders telling our brand story and deepening understanding along the way Who we are looking for You are a strategic marketer with a track record of high performance You have a deep understanding of and appreciation for brand You love nothing more than to take people on a journey through genuine and honest storytelling to build connection and belonging Your values are front and centre in everything that you do You have good business acumen and a hunger to drive results within your scope You have high attention to detail and lead by example when it comes to quality execution You drive the performance of others through organisation, thoughtful planning, delegation and care You are experienced in CRM platforms and other key marketing tools Essential criteria 5 years experience in a senior marketing position Extensive experience across the marketing mix Business/Commerce degree with Marketing major or related degree 3 years real retail/FMCG exposure If you have the passion and experience for this opportunity, we want to hear from you.
