A large federal government organisation is on the lookout for a Technical Lead, focussing on Telecommunications to be based from their head office in the Sydney CBD. The purpose for the role is to take a lead in the strategic direction the organisation takes their Telecommunication Services right across the business. You will provide expert technical guidance, lead the development of market tender documentation, and support the evaluation and implementation of cutting-edge telephony solutions.The role will pay up to $200k package for the right candidate. Key Accountabilities: Provide technical guidance on VOIP and Voice Service market capabilities. Understand business requirements, map as technical requirements to modern VOIP market. Lead creation of market tender documentation to elicit suitable vendor responses. Define tender response evaluation criteria & support response to vendor questions during tender period. Contribution to overall voice services solution design and architecture. Ensure compliance with Enterprise Architecture policies, processes and strategic direction. Experience Required: Proven experience in a Technical Lead position specialising in Telecommunications. Strong understanding of the VOIP market and modern voice service capabilities Demonstrated experience in preparing and evaluating market tenders. Experience with Cisco Webex and Microsoft Teams are highly desirable Manage internal and external relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders ensuring that expectations are continually aligned.
