Auriga Group comprises of 3 operational divisions, which provide services across 20 locations nationally. These operating divisions are Auriga Pilots, Auriga Marine and Auriga Aviation. We are seeking a full time People & Culture Business Partner to work closely with the HR team out of Brisbane HO. Auriga Group has established itself as an industry leader in the provision of Marine Pilotage and Aviation transfer services. The People & Culture Business Partner (Junior) supports the day-to-day operations of the team by assisting with key HR functions across recruitment, onboarding, employee records, system administration, and performance support. Working under the guidance of the People & Culture Manager, this role helps ensure smooth and compliant HR processes while contributing to a positive and inclusive employee experience. DUTIES: Position Management, Performance & Development Review, update, create, and maintain up-to-date position descriptions across business units, collaborating with business unit heads to ensure all role descriptions accurately reflect current duties, reporting lines, and qualifications. Coordinate and support performance review programs in collaboration with entity supervisors and managers. Promote a culture of continuous feedback and development, ensuring employees and managers are supported through performance management cycles. Onboarding & Induction Facilitate seamless induction processes, including scheduling, simulation training, document collection, and compliance checks. Conduct or coordinate employee inductions and onboarding program. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Coordinate full-cycle recruitment processes from requisition to onboarding, liaising with hiring managers to develop accurate skill matrices and qualification profiles. Source candidates through appropriate channels, including platforms, networks, and referrals System Administration & Record Keeping Maintain and update employee data within HR systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality Ensure compliance with internal processes and external regulations through diligent record management and documentation. Safety and Quality Uphold safety, wellbeing, and quality standards in all aspects of People & Culture function. Promote a safe and inclusive workplace culture through support in HR policies, training, and incident follow-up (in collaboration with relevant stakeholders). SKILLS REQUIRED: Basic understanding of HR practices and processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee record management. Strong written and verbal communication skills, good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Willingness to take direction and learn from more senior HR professionals. QUALIFICATIONS: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field (or working toward completion). Certification in HR systems administration (desirable but not essential). Psychometric testing or recruitment certification (desirable).
