Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Injury Management Consultant for a 6-month contract with a large Queensland government training provider. This position plays a key leadership role within the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team, delivering expert guidance on injury management and implementing strategies to improve safety and wellbeing performance across the organisation. The role provides high-level support on workers' compensation, rehabilitation, medical redeployment, and related matters while building strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Lead and advise on complex injury management cases, including claims and return-to-work processes Deliver expert guidance on workers’ compensation, income protection, health-related absences, redeployment and reasonable adjustment Monitor injury management data, identify trends and develop reports and strategic advice Collaborate with regional teams to implement best practice and proactive health strategies Prepare high-level correspondence, briefings and reports on injury management issues Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive workplace culture and contribute to wellbeing initiatives Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational rehabilitation or injury management Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice case management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities High-level written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and stakeholder engagement Strong understanding of internal reporting, systems, and continuous improvement practices Qualifications in allied health or rehabilitation highly regarded Experience in a complex or government organisation preferred Rate: $76.50 per hour super Location: Mount Gravatt, Brisbane Contract Length: 2 months This is a fantastic opportunity to lead strategic injury management initiatives and make a measurable impact on organisational wellbeing.
