Our client, a leading ASX-listed enterprise, is embarking on a significant digital transformation - transitioning from SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA across multiple business streams. They're looking for a Solution Architect to design and oversee the end-to-end architecture for one or more solutions that support the Programs primary objectives to modernise its existing systems and processes . The successful candidate will design, develop and support the implementation of robust and scalable solutions leveraging a wide variety of IT systems and solutions within our client's landscape. This role works closely with Technology and Integration Architects to build the technical architecture roadmap and strategy. This role supports the digital transformation initiatives by ensuring a secure, scalable, and high-performing Solution Architectures adhering to best practices, enforcing quality standards and guiding development teams to to deliver a high-quality, secure and performant solutions. Essential Experience and Qualifications: 10 years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong background in enterprise systems including SAP. Extensive experience designing solutions across complex IT landscapes. Demonstrated experience working in a solution architecture role supporting a major transformation program. Deep understanding of designing and deploying systems in a complex SAP-centric and Cloud environment. Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF). Experience with integration, data, and security architecture. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Desirable: Familiarity with infrastructure, services, or asset-heavy sectors. Exposure to agile delivery and DevOps practices Exposure to EA tools such as LeanIX General Responsibilities: Lead the solution design of one or more solutions, align with business goals and future technology trends. Collaborate with Enterprise Technology and Integration Architects to develop end to end solutions. Enforce and adhere to our client's solution governance principles such as clean core, solution standardisation and architectural review. Manage technical risks and ensure compliance with security and performance standards. Identity and evaluate new technologies, platforms and methodologies to enhance efficiency, scalability and agility. Develop, in consultation with the business, roadmaps for solutions as required to meet the transformation program and business requirements. Develop and maintain architecture standards, policies, and guidelines. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into detailed integration specifications and designs. Lead the design and architecture of complex solutions involving SAP and non-SAP systems. Support project and operational teams with architectural queries related to their solution design. Ensure readiness of solutions for go-live and post-go-live support. Contribute to solution governance and escalation forums (e.g., ARB, DRB, SSB). Document architectural designs, integration flows, data mappings, and technical specifications.
