You’ll lead from the front — guiding purchasing, planning and inbound logistics with the support of a capable team and the backing of the COO. We’re building a centralised, scalable supply chain function that supports long-term growth. This is your chance to shape how it operates and make the role your own by: Leading procurement, planning and logistics strategy across a high-volume FMCG environment Coaching and developing a capable team across purchasing, planning and inventory Managing supplier performance, contracts and inbound freight Collaborating daily with sales, production, quality and warehouse teams Strengthening planning tools, forecasting, risk management and supplier relationships Transitioning procurement ownership from the MD with structured support Playing an active role in weekly management planning and business-wide decision making From forecast to delivery, you’ll help ensure nothing gets in the way of operational excellence. Day One to Month Three: We’ve Got You You’ll begin with a structured onboarding to get familiar with the business — from production and planning to warehouse and leadership — so you can see how everything connects. From there, you’ll take the lead on day-to-day operations, while gradually transitioning procurement ownership from the MD. It’s a supported handover designed to help you build trust, gain context and lead with confidence. You’ll have the clarity, space and backing to make the role your own — and deliver impact from early on. This Role Needs Someone Like You We’re not looking for perfect. We’re looking for practical, calm, capable . Someone who leads by example and builds trust from day one. You’ll bring: A tertiary qualification in supply chain, logistics, business or related fields Significant experience in end-to-end supply chain or procurement roles (FMCG preferred) Proven ability to coach and develop teams at different levels Strong commercial understanding and systems knowledge (ERP, BoMs; Pronto is a plus) A hands-on approach to problem solving and planning Excellent communication and decision-making skills in cross-functional environments A leadership style that motivates, mentors and multiplies capability This is a role for someone who wants to build, not babysit — and who values clarity, accountability and real outcomes.
