Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking a Complaints and Risk Advisor to join a dynamic and dedicated team within a large government department, based in Brisbane. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in managing complaints and risk-related matters, while supporting the intake and assessment of sensitive and confidential cases across the organisation. Working as part of the Integrity – Referrals and Partnerships unit, you will provide high-quality administrative, advisory and case management support to senior officers and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities: Assist with the intake and assessment of complaints and conduct matters Manage case documentation and maintain relevant database systems Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including schools, HR, and other government agencies Prepare executive-level reports, correspondence and briefing materials Support the development of team processes and contribute to performance reporting Ensure accurate, ethical and confidential handling of complaints and sensitive data What we’re looking for: Demonstrated experience in complaints, risk or case management Strong administrative, organisational and database skills Proven ability to manage confidential matters with discretion Excellent written and verbal communication skills A collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset Experience in the public sector or education environment is highly desirable If you are a detail-driven professional with a passion for managing sensitive complaints and supporting ethical decision-making, please contact Angela Macpherson on angela@edenritchie.com.au or 07 3230 0031
