Senior Robotics Engineer $150-180K Super Melbourne – Western Suburbs The Company Our Melbourne based client are an established organisation who develop automated robotic systems for mass production. They have partnered with a number of industry leading organisations in the industrial automation sector as they navigate unprecedented growth. Responsibilities Take ownership of the in-house motion algorithm including maintenance and enhancement. Improve fidelity of motion cueing/motion system. Tune motion filters to maximise responsiveness of the physical motion platform. Design, develop and test motion cueing algorithms for novel simulation environments. Tune motion integration scaling for specific simulated vehicles. Document tuning processes and results. Your Background/Experience Tertiary qualifications across Mechatronics/Mechanical/Systems Engineering. Solid experience with modelling of physical systems in motion. Excellent understanding of high-pass/low-pass filters operation in control systems. Experience using/tuning PID controllers. Strong MATLAB/Simulink skills. Knowledge of software development process in Agile and other environments. Knowledge of motion cueing algorithms. Experience with Inverse Kinematic algorithms.
