Impact you will have in this role As Database Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in the backbone of CBCF’s fundraising operations by ensuring systems run smoothly, data is reliable, and insights are actionable. You’ll manage and maintain the organisation’s Salesforce CRM, oversee key third-party integrations, and support internal teams to get the most from CBCF’s data infrastructure. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, streamlining systems, and enabling effective decision-making through high-quality data. You’ll work collaboratively across fundraising, finance, and external vendors, contributing to a high-performing and purpose-driven team. Key Responsibilities Manage and administer Salesforce CRM, including user access, reports, dashboards, and data segmentation Ensure data integrity and quality through ongoing audits, hygiene processes, and best practice stewardship Maintain integrations with systems like Campaign Monitor, Funrasin, Grassrootz, and Xero Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on using Salesforce and related platforms Manage role-based security access and ensure data privacy standards are upheld Build queries and reports to support campaign targeting, segmentation, and performance analysis Liaise with vendors and manage troubleshooting, updates, and enhancements Support documentation of processes and continuous improvement in data workflows Skills and Experience Hands-on experience in a similar role ideally using Salesforce Strong data stewardship and attention to data hygiene and quality control Confident configuring custom objects, workflows, and dashboards in Salesforce Excellent Excel skills and a working knowledge of SQL or data manipulation tools Collaborative and proactive communicator with excellent attention to detail High attention to detail, with the ability to share segmented reports and make data driven decisions Experience in the not-for-profit or fundraising sector and familiarity with third-party fundraising platforms and integrations (e.g. Campaign Monitor, Funrasin, Xero) is highly regarded A genuine commitment to joining a team that is committed to raising funds to support people living with brain cancer and their families Applications Please direct all enquiries to Shonagh Dimmick at Impact Advising on shonagh@impactadvising.com.au Impact Advising is committed to creating diverse and inclusive work environments that reflect the rich tapestry of our communities.
