(Pro Rata) AS07 | 18.75 Hours per week – 12 Month Short Term Contract Join our Corporate Communications Team as a Principal Communications Advisor for a Special Project at one of SALHN's Major Hospital sites. About the role: Reporting to the manager of Corporate Communications, this role is expected to develop, implement and deliver communication strategies and events at Flinders Medical Centre. Duties for the role will include: Leading the planning, development, and implementation of a strategic communication and awareness campaign, whilst providing expert advice to SALHN's executives and key stakeholders. Managing communication channels and materials, and event planning. Overseeing budgets and contracts for external suppliers, ensuring compliance with government and organisational policies. Advising and supporting staff in adherence to communication, branding, and policy requirements, fostering effective internal communication and advocacy for the organisation. About you: Extensive experience in marketing strategies, including digital communications, corporate branding, market research, and production of diverse collateral across multiple platforms. Proven ability to lead teams, liaise with senior executives and external partners, and deliver high-quality, clear, and impactful communications through collaboration with stakeholders within and beyond the health sector. Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines, and adapting to evolving priorities. Strong judgement and expert interpersonal skills to provide high-level advice, facilitate collaboration, and manage sensitive communication matters with discretion and professionalism. While Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, journalism or relevant field are desired, relevant experience in highly valued.
