Who we are lookin g for To be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor Degree (AQF Level 7) qualifications in Public Relations, Marketing or Communications. Significant experience in communications and marketing. Demonstrated experience leading a communications team. Experience in delivery of advice that ensures the organisation is reputationally well positioned. A demonstrated knowledge of applying communication, marketing and change management best practice principles and processes It would be a bonus if you have: Experience in providing education and training to leaders regarding effective communication. Experience in crisis communications. Advanced understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools including organic and paid activity. Sound knowledge of the Not-for-Profit sector and relevant government departments W hat you will be doing The Manager, Communications reports to the Deputy CEO and leads the implementation of communications that are aligned to RASA's vision, mission, theory of change, and strategic plan. The Manager provides advice to the CEO, Deputy CEO and broader Executive Team to effectively communicate the values, purpose, and priorities of RASA in the minds of internal and external stakeholders. The role leads a team in the development and implementation of strategic communications campaigns that support the delivery of RASA’s strategic objectives. Externally, the role delivers plans and campaigns that elevate priority issues and programs. The Manager works closely with the RA Federation communications network and will contribute to the implementation of national RA brand management. The Manager works with the AISR Manager to support digital community education products. The Manager leads the development of strategic public relations and advocacy campaigns and is responsible for their successful implementation, moderation, and reporting.
