Crop Smart is seeking a confident, self-motivated Marketing Assistant to support the next phase of our brand growth across Australia’s farming communities. Crop Smart is a leading distributor of high-quality agricultural chemicals and adjuvants. We operate a formulation plant and a network of over 15 stores across Victoria and South Australia. The Role Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in executing our marketing program across digital platforms, campaigns, events and brand initiatives. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where your creativity, organisational skills and digital capability will make a direct impact. Key Responsibilities Plan, create and schedule engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube and Google Deliver marketing communications via eDM (Klaviyo) and SMS campaigns Coordinate video content creation and publication for social and YouTube Maintain and update website content via Shopify or WordPress Draft marketing copy for newsletters, flyers, blog articles, website and more Assist with coordination of field days, customer functions and sponsorships Design and manage marketing collateral including signage, promotional materials, and internal newsletters Support reporting on campaign performance and brand engagement metrics Coordinate the Communities Matter program and staff marketing initiatives About You We’re looking for someone with solid marketing experience, not just a foot in the door. You’ll bring creativity, initiative, and a strong digital skill set to help elevate our marketing output. You will have: A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or PR Experience in social media marketing, email marketing, and event coordination Strong copywriting and communication skills Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite Familiarity with Klaviyo, Shopify or WordPress Ability to create compelling video and visual content Excellent attention to detail and time management Confidence working both autonomously and in a small, high-performing team An understanding of, or connection to, regional communities is highly valued Why Join Crop Smart?
