As the HSE manager for Queensland, you will play a pivotal role in steering the development and implementation of risk-based health, safety, and environmental policies, practices, and services across the dynamic landscapes of Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Join us in shaping a safer and more sustainable future in the construction industry. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain effective HSEQ management systems. Provide leadership for compliance with regulations, conducting audits and risk assessments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations. Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and identify trends for management reports. Oversee rehabilitation legislation, manage compensable cases, and ensure confidentiality. Collate and analyse statistics on injuries, occurrences, and countermeasures. Prepare management briefings, conduct timely audits, and devise safety training programs. Ensure defined Health & Safety training requirements are met through regular site visits. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an HSE Manager or in a similar role. Strong experience with Industrial Relations & Unions Experience working on Projects within Residential, Defence, Health, Commercial or Complex Services upwards of $100m In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs. Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
