BlueCare | Clinical Educator | ACCS Clinical Education | Toowoomba Location Are you an experienced clinician looking for a new challenge or progression? The BlueCare Clinical Education Team is a centralised function with the focus of strengthening the clinical workforce across both community and residential aged care settings. Being part of the team, you will be working with a group of passionate, like-minded professionals. With a dedicated focus on the development and delivery of bespoke educational programs, you will support the capability and confidence uplift across clinical and non-regulated directed care roles. Your part in our clinical education team As a clinical Educator , you will be based out in our Toowoomba hub and travel to services within that region, including Ipswich and Kingaroy. You will be responsible for delivering clinical education programs to support capability and confidence uplift across clinical and non-regulated direct care roles in our Aged Care and Community Services. This role is part of the BlueCare centralised Clinical Education Team and will partner with service leaders and relevant key stakeholders to ensure educational outcomes align to the Aged Care Education Strategy. Accountabilities Support the design and implementation of the clinical education strategy, framework and approach across Aged Care; ensuring alignment with business unit standards and requirements, and UnitingCare’s mission, values and strategic goals Assess current clinical competency state, identify and prioritise learning gaps and requirements, and support efficient, effective and cooperative solutions Support with design, evaluation and delivery of education and development programs and provide recommendations on fit for purpose learning, tools and resources, including supporting external resource development where required, and vendor/contractor management where applicable Mentoring Clinical Nurses, Registered Nurses and Service Leaders to support their contribution to clinical education in their services What makes a difference for us?
