Key Responsibilities: In collaboration with the Chief People Officer, manage and conduct the full recruitment cycle including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing and placement while managing competing priorities across multiple roles. Build and maintain strong relationships with high-calibre candidates, ensuring seamless and positive experience throughout the recruitment process. Collaborate with the management team to understand firm needs, delivering top talent across multiple mandates. Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract the best candidates in the market. In conjunction with the Chief People Officer, manage onboarding. Implement strategies to manage a diverse pipeline of candidates across every role. Use various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, recruitment, networking and recruitment agencies to attract top talent. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Refine job descriptions and provide market data on remuneration based on research and internal benchmarks. Assist Chief People Officer with HR projects, such as employer branding to increase awareness of our company profile. Report on recruitment stats and market trends, such as time to hire, and assist in making data driven decisions. What We’re Looking for: 4 years of extensive experience in recruitment, ideally working in a legal recruitment agency or in a law firm as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or HR Business Partner. Experience managing and maintaining a high volume of active roles across a range of channels (firm website, LinkedIn, external job boards, referrals and other networks). Proven success in early career recruitment campaigns and initiatives and acting as firm ambassador at careers fairs and student networking events. Exposure and interest in implementing an innovative ATS through the use of ChatGPT & AI. Ability to build strong internal and external relationships. Strong communication, negotiation, and organisation skills. A results-driven mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Experience working with C-suite internal stakeholders and leaders.
