Marine Travel Lift Operator The Boat Works is seeking a motivated, reliable team player to join our growing dynamic operation in a full-time position here in the heart of the Gold Coast marine precinct. This role involves safe transporting and launching vessels in and out of the water, using various types of equipment, including straddle carriers, forklifts and sealifts. Training will be provided, though a forklift license is mandatory with experience Key Responsibilities: Operate forklifts, travel lifts, and sealifts to safely move and position boats Assist with waterblasting and cleaning the hull of vessels for maintenance works Set vessels down and return boats to the water after maintenance works Welcome customers on the jetty, ensuring a positive customer experience Work collaboratively with the team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Maintain a clean and organised work area Ensure safe operation of equipment in compliance with all relevant safety standards Two- way radio communication Communicate clearly with boat owners and team members to ensure smooth, coordinated workflows. Ideal Candidates will have: Forklift license (essential) Previous experience with crane operation, rigging, dogman, or warehousing machinery (highly desirable) Labour intensive role that requires lifting and walking up to 20km per day A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail Marine-related experience is a plus Excellent communication and customer service skills About the Role: Full-time position with an immediate start Team player with a proactive and reliable work ethic.
