Pathways Residences is a luxury Aged Care provider across Sydney. We are seeking a friendly Handyperson/Maintenance Officer to join our team in Northbridge NSW 2063 on a Permanent Part-Time basis -3 days a week between Monday -Friday, ideally 8AM - 4PM. The position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including both administrative tasks and hands-on maintenance work. Some examples include: Coordinating deliveries with contractors and suppliers Responsible for certain inventory Perform a variety of handyman tasks (changing light bulbs, fixing broken furniture, addressing minor repairs and replacements) Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs Collaborate with other departments and report to the Executive Manager the current status of jobs, repairs, inventory etc Requesting quotes of external trade work, coordinating approved external trade work Maintaining good paperwork that complies with Aged Care Standards About you Experience working in aged care Demonstrated experience in handyman/trade/maintenance work Awareness of regulations and the importance of compliance Trade certificate or equivalent desirable Good communication and problem-solving skills Finds reward in knowing that they are part of a team that truly care for our elderly Australians Must have current police check, covid vaccine and 100 points of ID Why join Pathways Residences $27-98 - $32.00 per hour (negotiable upon experience) superannuation Annual Leave Sick Leave paid Public Holidays off paid company picnic day A sense of fulfilment in serving the elderly in our community Great colleagues and team environment A rewarding industry, no matter your role!
