About the Role This is a dynamic and multifaceted part-time position within the Support at Home Department, providing vital administrative support across several functions. The primary responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable processes, generating client statements, and performing a range of general administrative duties to support the effective delivery of the Support at Home Program. Success in this role requires a high level of flexibility, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery. Key Responsibilities Assist with managing Support at Home (SaH) client budgets and purchases, including ongoing monitoring of income and expenditure across quarterly budgets Process government-funded claims Undertake accounts payable and account receivable functions for Support at Home transactions Liaise with broader finance and accounts payable departments as required Serve as a point of contact for phone and face-to-face enquiries, ensuring all enquiries are responded to promptly and appropriately Provide filing and archiving support Perform other administrative duties as directed Attend all mandatory training as identified for this position Participate in professional development and the performance appraisal process Promotes and actively demonstrates open, honest communication with excellent listening, verbal and nonverbal skills. Communicate effectively but respectfully to external health providers to ensure positive outcomes for residents. Essential skills and attributes (selection criteria): Accounts payable and/or receivable experience Extensive Experience in windows-based computer skills (I.e. Microsoft Office Suite including Excel) & CRM databases A good level of communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) Ability to work in pre-determined time frames Flexibility to work within varying administrative and finance functions The ability to solve low level complexity issues and to know when it is appropriate to escalate Demonstrated knowledge of accounting/finance systems and their functions Benefits & Culture We value our team and the wonderful work they do.
