Training Coordinator (12-Month Contract) Location: Perth & FIFO (2:1 roster) Rate: Up to $105/hour Type: Agency contractor for global EPCM An opportunity exists for an experienced Training Coordinator to join a major mining project on a 12-month contract. This site-based role will play a vital part in managing training systems, developing and delivering critical programs, and ensuring compliance with statutory and project requirements. Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will support safe work practices by driving effective training management and fostering a positive safety culture across the site. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver site training programs including statutory training, critical risk management, health and safety, and project inductions Support external training programs (e.g. frontline leadership, cultural heritage, mental health, environmental awareness) Manage and maintain training systems, frameworks, and procedures to ensure compliance Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and address competency gaps Develop and implement assurance programs for training and competency Provide data analysis and insights to site leadership to support safety initiatives Work closely with contractor teams to align training with project and legislative requirements About You: TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent with updates) Construction Induction (White Card or equivalent) Significant mining or construction project experience Strong knowledge of WHS statutory requirements and competency legislation Experience managing training systems, developing TNAs, and maintaining training matrices Ability to VOC high-risk licenses and mobile plant (preferred) Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills
