As a Business Officer you will: Providing timely, high-quality advice, support and training on human resources, establishment asset management, financial, and business systems Supporting the management of the human, physical and financial resources of the service area including assisting with HR reporting, the preparation of budget forecasts and expenditure reconciliations, supporting procurement processes and the management of accommodation and assets. Developing, implementing, and maintaining effective administrative systems, including the development and maintenance of records management systems. Providing advice to staff of all levels on administrative and operational issues as well as in relation to preparation of highly sensitive and confidential briefs, memos, submissions, and ministerial and executive correspondence. Supervising the Administration Officer in the office. Analysing and preparing reports, general correspondence, briefing notes, memorandum for approvals and human resource papers on diverse issues to Departmental standards. Assisting in the delivery and coordination of other business management functions and projects as required. Developing and maintaining networks with other areas of the department to ensure effective integration, coordination and liaison occur. Recognising and contributing to the AS&RS Governance Structure, supporting quality outcomes for clients through the delivery of quality services and continuous improvement.
