QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities. About the role You will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by providing exceptional administrative support to internal client stakeholder groups and liaising with external networks. This may include reporting, implementation and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of QBuild services, in line with operational plans and objectives. The role is part of a high performing team, but you will also work autonomously and often be required to work within tight time constraints. The role may also be required to work across a range of QBuild business teams as operationally required. Duties and skills involved: Provide efficient and high standards of customer service to QBuild customers. Undertaking travel bookings including flights, accommodation, charters, ferries and car hire within required time frames. Effectively monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, incoming and outgoing telephone calls and ensure responses are provided within required time frames. Willingness to work within a fast-paced environment with KPI's and mechanisms to measure and monitor performance. Ability to connect with industry, local suppliers and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services. Demonstrate professionalism and be a positive contributor to a great team and culture while being prepared to perform recurring work. Be dedicated to customer satisfaction, and within boundaries, develop an outcome which achieves both customer and business objectives. Ensure high standards and accuracy when compiling documents and reports or updating records and information systems (i.e., in Ellipse and Microsoft Office). Demonstrate initiative and be a team player by appropriately handling enquiries to senior staff in their absence within expected timeframes. Develop and maintain procedures, manuals and registers while being a contributor to improving existing procedures. Effectively undertake general administration functions as required. Technical operational expertise: Proven customer services and client management skills. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite. How do I apply?
