In this role, you will actively participate in outreach programs, strengthening the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences connections with industry and broader community. You will contribute to the practical application of engagement strategies, ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives. You will also support coordination efforts to ensure the university is aptly represented and oversee the administrative aspects of engagement. Your key responsibilities will be to: actively engage in outreach programs, enhancing the university's ties with industry and local communities participate in refining and optimising engagement strategies, acting on feedback and results actively participate in the execution of engagement strategies, ensuring initiatives are successfully implemented assist with the coordination of the university's participation in events, forums, and workshops, ensuring optimal representation coordinate the administrative aspects of engagement, ensuring processes are efficient and streamlined take the lead in handling stakeholder communications, ensuring that concerns are addressed effectively and timely while fostering a culture of trust and collaboration within the work area and beyond facilitate timely report submission, uphold data integrity according to university systems, and partner with managers to advance compliance initiatives champion a proactive approach to health and safety, review and provide feedback on work area protocols, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent safety standards across tasks and projects. About you strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement well-developed project management skills, effective critical thinking, strong attention to detail and proven capacity to ensure deliverables are met on time, within budget, standards and expectations well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building and influencing skills.
