ABOUT THE ROLE As a Stormwater Engineer , you will be working on high profile projects drawing on your engineering experience. Key responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of water resources projects including flood studies, infrastructure upgrades and water quality projects from concept to completion Prepare hydraulic and hydrological models, design reports and design packaging and design interfaces Participate in all aspects of project delivery, ensuring timely completion and adherence to standards Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external authorities to ensure project success Work with a team of engineers and project managers, providing guidance and mentorship Work in accordance with the Business Management System Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality expectations Arrange submissions for design approvals WHAT WE OFFER Excellent work environment with the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders A vibrant, dynamic environment that rewards self-starters looking for career progression Great projects across a range of scales and sectors A range of employee benefits such as salary sacrificing, health initiatives and great social events ABOUT YOU Extensive experience in hydrological and hydraulic modelling, stormwater augmentation, water quality and water resources projects (5 years) Previous local consultancy work with strong consulting engineering and project delivery skills Solid technical design background Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple deadlines Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain client relationships Qualifications Must hold a University/ tertiary degree or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia is essential Obtained or actively seeking Chartered Engineer status (desirable) Minimum 3 years experience practising in a relevant engineering field (essential) TuFlow, DRAINS and 12d experience (essential) AutoCAD, MUSIC, GIS experience (desirable) Knowledge of WHS Acts/Legislation (desirable) Knowledge of Environment Legislation (desirable) If this sounds like the perfect place for you to take the next step in your career, please apply!
