Description ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Structural Engineer undertakes investigations, analysis and design of structural projects in accordance with the direction of the Project Manager, project brief and fee structure. Key responsibilities Prepare structural designs for medium and high-rise buildings Execution of engineering design projects in accordance with the project brief Undertaking components of design such as steel, precast concrete, post tensioned concrete, masonry and timber Plan design packaging and design interfaces Produce designs and design documentation Prepare engineering designs, specifications and documentation Manage the verification of the design in accordance with the quality system Mentor junior engineers and supervise designers and drafters ABOUT YOU A passion for structural engineering Experienced (5 years) Previous local consultancy work Experience in structural design components Excellent time management, ability to manage multiple deadlines Strong interpersonal and written communication Initiative and a strong work ethic WHAT WE OFFER Excellent work environment Team focused culture Flexible start and finish times Salary sacrificing Employee Assistance Program Wellbeing initiatives such as gym memberships, healthy food and vaccinations Skills And Experiences QUALIFICATIONS • Tertiary degree admitting to the Institution of Engineers Australia; essential • Hold and maintain relevant state registrations for a Structural Engineer; essential • Chartered Engineer status; desirable
