Description Your Team You will be part of the Colonial First State (CFS) Technology Line 1 IT Risk and Compliance Team which supports the Chief Operating Officer’s Extended Management Team. Line 1 IT Risk is a team of five general and specialist risk SMEs (i.e. technology, cyber and data risk, assurance, regulatory compliance management and risk advisory) supporting CFS Technology and the broader CFS business in the delivery of strategic outcomes within an effective risk culture. Your Responsibilities Conducting Delivered Risk Assessments (Risk in Change) across a wide range of transformation, transition and business growth projects, ensuring effective design of controls for all new and changing processes through the Risk in Change (RiC) framework, and working with Line 1 risk and project stakeholders across CFS Supporting and guiding IT Service Owners and their Service Management teams to remediate process or control weaknesses and gaps. Maintaining strong professional expertise in risk management approaches Conducting Technology Risk Assessments (TRA’s) when new technology solutions are introduced or updated into the CFS Technology environment Driving a positive risk culture across our stakeholder group Your Capability and Experience Strong experience in financial services risk management, advisory or assurance fields with focus on controls, and/or issues/incidents/obligations and subsequent reporting, governance and/or monitoring. Strong problem solver and critical thinker who takes pride in absorbing information and turning them into actionable insights and outcomes. Ability to support and manage a large and varied stakeholder group at all levels of seniority across the business Familiarity with APRA standards (including SPS/CPS220, 231, 232, 234 and upcoming CPS230) is beneficial.
