This position offers flexibility with opportunities in: Kennesaw, GA (Suburb of Atlanta) Palm Beach Gardens, FL Orlando, FL Nashville, TN Tampa, FL Pensacola, FL Charlotte, NC Responsibilities Project Leadership & Management: Lead all phases of Substation projects, from design through construction and commissioning. Manage budgets, schedules, and project deliverables. Technical Expertise & Compliance: Oversee design, analysis, and optimization of Substations. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Collaboration & Integration: Work with cross-functional teams to align Substation projects with overall energy infrastructure. Team Development & Support: Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across departments. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred). Typically 10 years of experience in Substation engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale engineering projects. Strong knowledge of Substation design software and tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
