With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hourâs drive from the CBD, Melbourneâs North is fast becoming the place to be!    The Role: An opportunity exists for an Unaccredited Vascular Surgery Registrar to join the team at Northern Health for the 2026 medical year.  The Unaccredited Vascular Surgery Registrar provides inpatient and outpatient care to the growing population in the Northern Suburbs, including both elective and emergency work.  The vascular unit at the Northern is well poised to offer a suitable candidate excellent exposure to the speciality with the availability of two hybrid surgical theatres and a diversity of open, endovascular and hybrid procedures offered.  This position is a 12-month fixed term role within the vascular surgery unit. The Vascular Surgery unit at Northern Health provides elective & 24/7 emergency care for patients in the northern catchment of Melbourne. The vascular surgical unit comprises four surgical consultants. This role will include times working independently and as part of a team. There may be requirements to cover unexpected leave across the Division of Surgery.
