With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hourâs drive from the CBD, Melbourneâs North is fast becoming the place to be!    Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Urology Fellow to join the team at Northern Health for the 2025 and 2026 clinical year, commencing in August 2025.  Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourneâs rapidly growing outer north.  Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.  About the Role:  This role is responsible for the provision of appropriate care to inpatients and public outpatients of the Urology team at all Northern Health sites, provision of a consultative service for patients of other Units or Departments.  Ensuring supervision of junior medical staff and urology nurse consultant and to provide support for the senior medical staff in the care of the Unit / Departmentâs patients. On call and management of emergency department admissions â Share the unit on call with the unit registrars. Operating - Depending on the case complexity fellow will be asked to perform procedures under direct or over-sight supervision. Research/audit/teaching â This is an integral part on Fellowâs training and will be expected to take part actively. Urology unit has a dedicated research team to support trainees.  To be successful in this role you will have: Medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or ability to apply.
