Work Location: Blacktown Attractive day rate of $450 /day plus super Working 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week Key Responsibilities Diagnose security system faults and undertake repairs with minimal supervision. Provide schools and stakeholders with high quality advice and assistance with security systems in a timely manner. Collaborate with team members to share information, exchange knowledge and improve service delivery. Develop and maintain a good understanding of current security technologies and their application in the school environment. Demonstrate proficiency in security software applications utilised by the unit to assist with the maintenance and servicing of the variety of security systems installed in schools. Maintain appropriate records and other documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date security data for reporting and audit purposes. Essential Requirements Current and valid Driver’s licence – Class C. Willingness and ability to work in accordance with an after-hours on-call roster when required. Possession of the competence and experience required by a Class 2C Security Licence. (Note: Security Technicians employed by the Central Services unit are not required to hold a security licence due to an exemption provided by the Security Industry Regulation 2016) Ability to work effectively in a busy, service-oriented environment.
