With over 13 years of expertise, we pride ourselves on exceptional services, including consultation, design, installation, service and maintenance of commercial and industrial air conditioning systems throughout Sydney and greater NSW Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVACR Technician/Installer to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of HVACR systems in commercial and residential environments. The role requires sound technical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or within a team. Main Duties Install air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment in residential and commercial settings, including split systems, ducted units, and cool rooms. Assemble and install various components such as compressors, motors, fans, condensers, evaporators, valves, and control panels to build or complete HVACR systems. Inspect, repair and maintain key system parts, including motors, compressors, condensers, evaporators, circuit boards, and electrical wiring. Inspect and maintain refrigerant lines, piping, and related connections to ensure there are no leaks or blockages. Conduct regular testing of HVACR systems to identify faults, ensure efficient operation, and prevent breakdowns. Fill systems with gas or liquid to check for leaks, and extract them using vacuum pumps when necessary. Add or replace refrigerant in the system as part of fault diagnosis or regular servicing. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and filter replacement to maintain system hygiene and performance. Keep accurate service records, report defects or safety issues, and communicate clearly with customers when on-site. Follow all safety procedures, use appropriate tools and protective equipment, and comply with relevant codes, industry standards and licensing requirements. Qualifications Certificate III in Airconditioning and Refrigeration (essential) ARCtick licence (Refrigerant Handling Licence) (essential) White card (General Construction Induction Card) Other workplace safety certifications (optional) Skills Ability to install air conditioning and refrigeration systems in both commercial and residential settings, and carry out all associated aspects required for successful completion of the task Solid understanding of the HVACR trade and relevant codes and standards Good understanding of, and strong commitment to, safe work practices applicable to the workplace Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment in a positive, safe and efficient manner Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve HVACR system faults Effective time management and communication skills Positive and reliable attitude toward day-to-day tasks and working with team members Experience At least one year of relevant work experience in air conditioning and refrigeration installation and maintenance Experience working with a range of HVACR systems across both commercial and residential environments Other Requirements Must hold a valid Australian driver’s licence Must have legal work rights in Australia Benefits Stable full-time employment in a fast-growing business All entitlements including annual leave, sick leave and superannuation Work Hours Full time role Minimum 38 hours per week
