About the Role As Business Analyst – Energy Systems & Market Operations, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end business analysis across a portfolio of renewable and grid-modernisation initiatives. You’ll support projects that involve energy modelling, systems integration, process design, and operational improvement. You’ll work across cross-functional teams to define requirements, optimise workflows, and deliver outcomes aligned to grid performance, renewable integration, and compliance with energy market operations. Key Responsibilities Facilitate requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis for renewable and grid operations projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions that improve energy system integration and market compliance. Support delivery of digital and operational tools for real-time grid and market performance. Assist with the development of technical documentation and business cases. Conduct analysis of system performance data and translate insights into business recommendations. Track project deliverables, support testing phases, and monitor benefits realisation. This role supports commercial activity across: Renewable Energy Integration – process design and solution delivery for grid-connected assets. Energy Market Operations – compliance, bidding and dispatch process support. Digital & Data Teams – technical requirement definition and workflow automation. Project Delivery – scoping, implementation, and operational uplift initiatives. Candidate Profile 3–5 years’ experience in business analysis within energy, infrastructure, or complex technical environments. Understanding of energy systems, grid operations, or electricity market frameworks. Strong communication skills and ability to engage technical and operational stakeholders. Experience with process mapping, requirement gathering, and solution scoping. Proficient with business analysis tools and documentation methods. Tertiary qualifications in engineering, information systems, business, or related disciplines.
