About the role Lead the coordination and delivery of clinical trial activities across Nuclear Medicine and PET services within a major teaching hospital. Oversee the full lifecycle of clinical trials—from initiation and patient recruitment through to treatment delivery, monitoring, and study closeout. Perform advanced clinical procedures, including radiopharmaceutical dose preparation, administration, and post-treatment patient care, in accordance with NSW EPA radiation licensing and GCP guidelines. Liaise with sponsors, CROs, governance bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, accurate documentation, and high trial standards. Champion quality improvement, professional development, and research excellence, contributing to service delivery, education, and innovation in a collaborative, values-led environment. About you AHPRA registered Nuclear Medicine Scientist, holding a degree in Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine) or an equivalent qualification, and current NSW EPA Radiation License. Experienced in clinical trials and familiar with ICH-GCP and ethical conduct of research, with technical skills in ECG collection, venepuncture, cannulation, and sample processing. Demonstrated ability to manage clinical workflows, documentation, and patient care within complex, high-acuity environments, ensuring safety and compliance at every stage. A skilled communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, able to work both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary research and clinical team.
