About the Role: You will be joining the Rail Consulting division as a Project Coordinator, a newly created position within the company and reporting directly to the Director of Rail Consulting. One of their key areas of difference has been in the delivery of interface and third-party access where they have become the market leader. The key opportunity for growth in this space is in the expansion of these services to deliver end-to-end projects through design and construct to organizations working in and around the rail corridor. Within this role, you will play a key role providing rail consulting and 3rd part access consultations to developers and builders, working in or around the rail corridor, providing a key service to enable their projects to progress smoothly. Working as an interface between rail bodies, developers and contractors, stakeholder management and developing relationships will play a huge part of this role. Job Requirements: You will need to be a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager who has gained 1-3 years’ experience within the industry. You should also have a Tertiary Degree in either Construction/Project Management or Engineering, with an engineering background being an advantage. Ideally you will have gained experience working within the rail infrastructure sector and knowledge of 3rd party access would be a huge advantage. You should also have gained strong exposure working with clients and relevant stakeholders, this role will be heavily engaged dealing with different stakeholders and developers, so strong communication skills and being able to build a rapport is essential. Strong knowledge of the Victorian Building Codes and Planning Regulations is also essential.
