Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the design process from concept through to construction, ensuring alignment with project objectives, budgets, and timelines. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage the design process for ground engineering projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to develop cohesive design solutions for shoring, piling, anchoring, and shotcreting works. Strong Structural / Geotechnical Design proficiency. Review and assess design documentation for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with regulations. Facilitate design meetings and workshops to drive project progress and resolve design issues. Ensure timely delivery of design milestones in alignment with construction schedules. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes, standards, and industry best practices. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a design coordination role within the civil construction industry, preferably with exposure to ground engineering projects. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of Australian building codes and regulations.
