About the role: Seeking highly experienced, passionate and self-motivated Linen Attendant for our new 80 tonne capacity laundry at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney. This role will be casual, working on a 7 day rotational roster. Shifts range from 6am, 7am, 10am and 12pm start times. This rewarding opportunity will see you in managing and coordinating the laundry provision of linen services across the Darlinghurst Campus, which includes St Vincent’s Private, St Vincent’s Public Hospital, St Vincent’s Clinic, Sacred Heart Health Service and Kinghorn Cancer Centre. Following daily production targets. Labour intensive work by standing for long periods of time. Sorting through soiled and dirty linen. Fast paced production work following instructions from Supervisor or Manager. Build strong relationships with all Department Managers and work with them to provide a high level product, with the highest priority on patient cantered care and guest service. About you: Experience in a larger or similar size Commercial Laundry Environment and a passion for the patient care, bringing the experience of the Commercial Laundry Industry to our Campus; Full understanding and operational experience of CBW Tunnel Wash Systems, Commercial Ironing and Folding System; Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines; Ability to work in a team or unsupervised; Must be physically fit; Honesty and integrity when dealing and incorporating our hospital mission and values within every facet of our daily operations.
