About the Role This Executive Assistant position is pivotal in supporting senior leadership within the legal and governance functions of the organisation. The role is designed for an experienced professional capable of managing a wide array of administrative and executive tasks to facilitate seamless operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency of day-to-day activities through high-level coordination, proactive communication, and informed decision support. 6 months contract $ 450-480 per day plus superannuation 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive executive support including calendar management, travel bookings, and email correspondence Organise and prepare high-level documentation such as reports, briefings, and presentations Coordinate internal and external stakeholder communications and enquiries with professionalism Arrange meetings, conferences, and events including logistics and preparation of agendas and minutes Monitor and refine administrative systems to improve workflow efficiency Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement on sensitive matters Assist with the preparation of responses and documentation for legal and policy issues Use enterprise systems for document management, record keeping, and compliance Ensure prompt handling of politically or operationally sensitive issues requiring executive attention Provide high-quality customer service in all dealings with internal and external contacts Support other administrative staff and contribute to team objectives during high-demand periods About You Proven experience in an executive support or high-level administrative capacity Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and corporate systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and ability to prioritise competing demands Experience within legal, governance or government sectors is highly regarded Adaptability and initiative to work both autonomously and collaboratively Certificate IV or higher in Business Administration or related field (preferred) Demonstrated understanding of information management and confidentiality protocols Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise confidently with senior stakeholders A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently Current and valid Australian working rights – Permanent Residency, Australian Citizenship, or unrestricted long-term working visa is essential All government contract applicants must complete compliance and upload their work right verification ID at: www.charterdiligence.com.au/portal.
