Job Description Audio Creative Writers are responsible for the creation and delivery of effective and engaging commercial campaigns for Nine’s radio network and its digital assets. Day to day you will: Create engaging and compelling audio commercial content for our clients and other teams within the business on a daily basis. Writing scripts to be produced for on-air commercials, mocks, promotions and program promo material, podcasts as well as any other general imaging as required across Nine’s Radio and digital stations. Respond to Audio creative briefs and complete work to deadline. Interact with the sales teams, audio producers, talent, on-air teams and traffic department to ensure the effective on-air delivery of advertising campaigns. Audition, book and liaise with Voice Over Talent. Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure that all on-air broadcast material complies with Nine Radio standards and brand. Work with internal stakeholders to implement digital audio campaigns when required. Develop a deep understanding of the Nine Audio suite of products and its audience, and the ability to generate ideas, copy and content to solve client problems and engage the right people. Take initiative to create new ideas to pitch to clients and agencies. Be “on call” after hours where reasonable to manage any issues that arise with programming, production or commercial content.
