StaffCo has partnered with one of Australia’s leaders in restoration services for both properties and contents affected by emergency situations and are seeking restoration labourers who are keen to learn the industry and want to progress to a technician. This is casual ad hoc work with opportunities for ongoing work and career progression. The work will be in the Newcastle area. About the role: As a restoration labourer, you and the technician are the first representative to meet customers whose properties have been damaged by flood, fire, mould or other damages, therefore a large customer focus, high degree of professionalism and empathetic nature is essential. Each day will be different so you will need to be flexible with schedules and tasks. Key Responsibilities: Perform extraction, cleaning, sanitization, and structural demolition. Attend to water, fire, and mould-affected properties, performing cleanup operations. Preparing scope for necessary works. Monitor and document progressive restoration efforts. Work closely with technicians Adhere to legislative and WHS requirements. Perform general manual labour, including frequent driving.
