This is a senior role with a strong focus on new business development while maintaining existing clients, and the leadership of a multi-site team. You will lead both internal and external sales teams (3 external / 4 internal in Sydney and Newcastle), and play a key role in driving business growth through new customer acquisition and strategic account management. The business is well established in key sectors, and your challenge will be to open doors and win work with both new and existing customers, through your leadership and direction. Your hands on capability will assist in guiding your team, set clear direction and contribute to long-term growth plans. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the NSW sales strategy and business plan Lead, support and mentor a multi-site sales team (Internal and external teams) Identify and pursue new business opportunities Maintain and grow existing customer relationships Provide technical product knowledge and sales guidance Track market trends and customer needs Manage pricing, proposals, and contract negotiations Contribute to budgeting, reporting, and forecasting About You You will bring proven experience as a Sales Manager with experience in Hydraulic or industrial hose suppliers Fluid power or pneumatic systems Lubricant providers or other aligned industrial products You’ll have a proven track record selling to similar buying contacts, such as mining, agriculture, construction and be confident leading a team while remaining commercially hands-on. Strong communication, planning, and relationship management skills are essential, along with the ability to travel across NSW is required.
