Company An opportunity has just arisen for a Project Engineer with experience in the water, wastewater and Irrigation Infrastructure Sector's to join a growth National Group based out of Melbourne. Offering a comprehensive range of pumping, engineering and water infrastructure solutions, their client base includes industrial, mining operators, local government, utility owners and construction groups. Role As a Project Engineer you will provide high quality and innovative engineering services, contract management, project management, financial/cost oversight, client management skills and project programming to the Project teams. Working across sites throughout Victoria, you receive strong training/development to be able to develop with the business. Responsibilities include; Management of onsite daily operations while executing quality procedures, adherence to design specifications and coordinating testing and inspections by relevant stakeholders. Implementation of project programs and responsible for day-to-day execution of required works from project commencement to project handover. Contracts Administration/Management Planning and Scheduling PMP, OH&S, Risk Management and development of ITP's. Provide general technical assistance to supervisory personnel. Assist with estimating projects - materials, equipment & labour Management of relationships with clients, authorities & Suppliers Prepare reports on progress, manpower and costs and coordinate the work scheduling and procurement. Background To be considered for this role you will have: Tertiary qualification in engineering (Mechanical or Civil) Experience in the infrastructure construction industry with experience in Water, Wastewater and Irrigation Projects an advantage Experience in management of clients/teams/subcontractors and suppliers Cost management and forecasting skills Commitment to HSE Apply This is a great opportunity for a site/project engineer seeking a long-term opportunity where you can grow with a business.
