As a member of the Family Services Australia (FSA) Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the CFO provides proactive hands-on leadership, finance, business, and administration support to FSA operations. The CFO delivers for the Managing Director, ELT, and Senior Leadership Group (SLG), providing effective daily financial accounting, governance, management, reporting, and internal audit of FSA and its community programs. Values-based, FSA’s CFO drives innovation, solution design, system, and process improvement to ensure financial sustainability. Ensuring continuous improvement with a very high attention to detail and accurate, quality assurance controls. The CFO ensures proactive annual statutory, regulatory, and compliance reporting, including timely, accurate financial statements for FSA and its external funding agencies. Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) qualified with a minimum Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting, Business Finance, and an MBA held in high regard. Minimum ten (10) years of direct experience in a community service environment that has included successful, cohesive, and supportive team leadership. Excellent prioritization, time, and project management abilities with a strong psychological resilience capacity and calmness when operating in dynamic care environments. Ability to coordinate and promote a multi-disciplined environment with high Standards of Care, Quality Assurance, Audit, and Risk Management. Outstanding internal and external communication and interpersonal skills to aid staff capacity building in challenging operating environments.
