As an ASX-listed company with over 35 years of experience, we help claimants overcome financial barriers to legal action, ensuring fair access to redress in complex disputes—including large-scale group actions against corporate misconduct and institutional wrongdoing About the Role: An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join our team on a 6 month fixed term (working holiday makers will be considered) to assist us with our year end process. Working with a group of talented individuals, you'll support our Finance Managers and work closely with our broader finance team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare month-end financial close (journals, reconciliations, reporting, intercompany processes etc). Assist with the consolidation of the group accounts and preparation of financial reports. Assist with the preparation of the half year/full year statutory financial reports, including working with external auditors. Respond to review of monthly costs across the business and associated analysis inclusive of management reporting requirements. Assist with building and implementation of required systems, processes, and policies to progress financial and commercial business maturity. Proactively pursue financial process improvements and system enhancement initiatives such as drive improvements in reporting, controls, and adherence to group policies. Actively support finance leadership and other stakeholders within the business with relevant financial information when required. Provide backup support to other finance team roles. General accounting duties as required. Ad-hoc project work as required. What We’re Looking For: A tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce, or finance. Relevant certification (e.g., CA/CPA/ICA) or studying towards achieving this. Minimum of 3 to 5 years accounting experience. Experience in a chartered or professional/financial services firm would be advantageous. Technically adept with a strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, including the ability to identify issues and suggest solutions. Why Join Omni Bridgeway?
