Thinkerbell is looking for an amazing Finance Sergeant (Assistant Accountant / Financial Accountant) to join our team of Thinkers, Tinkers and COPs in Sydney. THE TASK AT HAND As Finance Sergeant. you are equal parts measured and magic. You will report into the Finance Manager and will be responsible for all the financial accounting for our North, South and East offices. You weave impeccable accuracy through everything you do. You embrace the weird and know how to make things happen, no matter what curveball is thrown your way (and there will be loads!). You’ll be solutions-oriented and not afraid to have an opinion. You'll have three big things to do: 1. ENDING ALL THOSE MONTHS You live for these days, you can’t eat and can’t sleep without thinking about month end… OK, we are joking but you are pretty bloody good at it. You are top of the tree when it comes to ensuring all costs are allocated to the right place and office. You are constantly analysing expenses, running reports and picking up trends which could lead to money saving. And who doesn’t love that? You understand that an unmatched attention to detail and accuracy is required when entering data to ensure that we can make necessary process improvements. 2. COMMERCIAL COPPING Being a key Cop in the Commercial pillar, you’re able to use your incredible initiative and talents to juggle multiple requests and tasks at once, all while keeping your cool and showing up in a positive and energetic manner. You love to work closely with your fellow Cops and non-finance people. 3. UPHOLD AND MAINTAIN THE BALANCE You know Thinkerbell and the people inside it and you understand the challenges our Thinkers and Tinkers manage on a daily basis. You proactively work in collaboration with our Thinkers and Tinkers to uphold and maintain the balance of Thinkerbell, which means you make sure good communication is front and centre and you are consistently finding innovative ways to support the agency to ensure Thinkers and Tinkers can deliver their best work.
