About the Role Reporting directly to the Tax Manager and working in close collaboration with our Finance team, you'll take ownership of direct and indirect tax compliance (think Corporate Income Tax, GST, FBT, Payroll Tax and more). This is a 12-month contract opportunity where you'll also play a key role in strategic projects and advisory initiatives across the region. Your mission: Ensure accurate, timely, and policy-aligned tax submissions-every time. What You'll Do Tax Compliance Champion - Prepare and manage Income Tax and FBT returns for Australia and New Zealand - Review GST/BAS submissions and GST treatment on products - Support ATO Combined Assurance Review and Voluntary Disclosures (AU & NZ) - Assist with acquisitions, divestments , and R&D tax claim processes - Contribute to governance policies and procedures across all tax types - Deliver on corporate tax reporting requirements, including Pillar Two and public CBC reporting - Support Transfer Pricing , Local File , and Customs Voluntary Disclosures Process Improvement & Business Integration - Be a key player in business integration efforts - Identify tax risks and propose practical, proactive solutions - Embrace continuous improvement-streamline processes and elevate best practices Strategic Business Partnering - Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders - Provide reliable insights and data to drive better business decisions What You'll Bring Must-Haves - CA, CPA, or relevant tax-specific qualification - 7 years' experience in large corporate or chartered firm tax roles - Deep technical tax knowledge and laser-sharp attention to detail - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - High integrity and professionalism under pressure - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Nice-to-Haves - Exposure to multinational corporate environments - Experience using JDE (JD Edwards) ERP systems Why Stryker?
