About Us We’re a boutique property development firm with a passion for delivering quality residential and commercial projects across NSW. With a small, agile team, every role counts — and we’re now looking for a capable, hands-on Accountant to join us as a trusted finance lead. The Role You’ll be responsible for the full end-to-end accounting function. This is a standalone role reporting directly to the Managing Director, where your input will shape financial strategy and support the success of our developments from feasibility to settlement. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Handle accounts payable and receivable, and ensure accurate coding of project costs Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow statements, and budget-to-actuals Develop and manage annual budgets and rolling cash flow forecasts Track development costs and support feasibility and project cost analysis Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, and ensure all tax and regulatory compliance Oversee payroll and superannuation for a small team Liaise with banks, financiers, and external accountants as needed Support financial pack preparation for funding applications and settlements Identify and implement process improvements and system upgrades What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a similar full-function accounting role, ideally in property or construction Strong working knowledge of Australian tax, BAS/GST, and payroll compliance Proficient in accounting software (ideally Xero) Ability to work independently, with excellent attention to detail and initiative Confident communicator who can collaborate with internal and external stakeholders CA/CPA qualified or working towards (preferred, but not essential) Why Join Us?
