JOB DESCRIPTION Position Description Title: Talent Accountant Member of: Sydney IMG Finance team Reports to: Finance Manager, IMG Finance Key responsibilities: Accounts payable (for general company costs only – payment of job costs should be done by budget holders) Invoicing reviews and approvals – both AR and AP Client Billings according to invoicing plans for Models in ICE system Collate, update and maintain contractual obligations database for Talent payments Staff expense reconciliations for your business unit Balance sheet reconciliations Month end journal preparation Job profitability and margin analysis, to create Talent specific reports for Business Unit leads BAS and CAS preparation and submission Weekly Cashflow submissions Casual and contractor payroll for Talents and Models including all related superannuation & other payment obligations Month end reconciliation and variance analysis for BU leads, including specific commentary for global meeting presentations. Quarterly Budgeting (including sensitivity modelling) Year‐end reconciliations Job reconciliations (assist budget holders where necessary) Any other ad hoc accounting and other specific BU assistance as required Knowledge & Experience 3 years’ experience in a similar or related role preferred 2 years’ Experience in a Global Multinational Licensing, Talent/Model Agency, Media, Sports and Entertainment industry essential Relevant Accounting / Finance qualifications, CA or CPA helpful Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required Experience in SAP, BPC, BW and ICE essential Knowledge of SOX compliance would be essential Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to manage and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Ability to meet strict deadlines by having excellent time management skills Ability to be proactive, take initiative, have strong problem-solving skills to make sound decisions Ability to work in a team environment and independently Detail-oriented, meticulous, with strong work ethics, diligent and have integrity Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external shareholders, to provide cohesion and efficiency across the business Please ensure your resume or cover letter clearly demonstrates your quantifiable evidence or proficiency in these areas Salary range: AUD $85k - 93k p.a.
