Yard Manager ZELVi Equipment | Forrestdale, WA $80,000 - $90,000 per annum (depending on experience) About Us ZELVi Equipment is a Forrestdale-based earthmoving equipment hire business serving Perth and the surrounding regions. We supply a quality fleet of excavators, compaction equipment, water trucks, skid steers, forklifts and more to builders, civil contractors and tradies across WA. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a hands-on Yard Manager to keep our fleet hire-ready and our clients moving. About the Role We're after an experienced, reliable Yard Manager to take ownership of our yard operations. You'll be the person making sure every machine that goes out the gate is safe, clean, and ready to work — and the friendly face helping clients load and unload their gear. Day to day, you'll be: Carrying out pre-hire and off-hire machine checks to confirm site readiness (fluids, attachments, safety features, general condition) Identifying and carrying out small repairs and maintenance, and flagging bigger issues to the right people Helping clients load and unload equipment safely and efficiently Keeping the yard organised, clean and safe Coordinating with the hire desk and operations team on fleet movements and turnaround times Maintaining accurate records of machine condition, servicing and repairs Operating yard equipment (forklifts, telehandlers etc.) as required What We're Looking For Solid mechanical aptitude — you can diagnose and fix basic issues on earthmoving/plant equipment Experience in a yard, workshop, hire, or plant/equipment environment Current forklift licence (essential) A current driver's licence — heavy vehicle licence highly regarded Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset Good communication skills — you'll be dealing directly with clients Ability to work efficiently and stay organised under pressure A proactive, "get stuck in" attitude What's On Offer $80,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience Stable, full-time role with a growing local business Supportive team environment Variety of equipment and daily tasks — no two days the same Opportunity to take real ownership of yard operations How to Apply Click 'Apply' or send your resume to zelvi.com.au.
